We are the second owners of SYZYGY, and have owned her since 1996. She has always been a freshwater boat, first on Lake Michigan and now on the Mississippi River. She is hauled in October and commissioned in May, equipped and maintained for charter operations as required by USCG regulations. We ensure that she is kept attractive and safe for our clients and the charter company, which often uses her for their sailing school: When something needs attention, it gets attention. We have two sets of sails, mains and 130 genoas, plus a spinnaker which we have never used. All upholstery replaced in 2006. We have the 1996 survey and maintenance records since purchase.
